Cream Scones
Yield: 4-6servings (??)
Time: not too long
Difficulty Level: Easy
Ingredients:
- 2 C flour
- 2 t baking powder
- 1 T sugar
- 1 t salt
- 4 T butter
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 C cream
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Butter cookie sheet
- Mix dry ingredients
- Work butter into mix with fingers or a pastry blender
- Add eggs & cream & stir until blended.
- Knead on floured board about 1 min. Roll dough 1" think
and cut into wedges (or circles)
- Place on cookie sheet & bake 15 minutes.
